When you set it to none- page loads without error and you get portal pre-login success. I have tried creating a loopback interface so that the test users can use that, however. However, I cannot test this as they already have GP setup with DU0 and when I create another gateway for azure -GP test users it breaks the current working GP.
If you set it to your Cert Profile with the INT CA- you get "Valid client cert is required" and portal-prelogon failure on the GlobalProtect monitor tab. Our customer wants to integrate Azure SAML with GP. AND i found setting that to NONE allows the page to load without error. The bottom of the auth page "Cert Profile" - i read somewhere that should be set to a cert profile that references your Intermediary CA. I have found the SSL cert used for the webpage https settings is configured via the SSL/TLS Service Profile (top of the Auth page under sever auth).
